Because we can tell you exactly what goes into them, they are an easy choice for people who are careful about what they eat.

In Japan: thank-you gifts and return gifts
In Japan, people often give small sweets as thank-you gifts, and “return gifts” (内祝い, uchi-iwai) after a birth or a recovery. Our cookies suit these occasions too, as well as birthdays and corporate gifts. For larger quantities, please contact us.

For people avoiding wheat
You can also choose them as a gift for someone who avoids wheat. We don’t use wheat flour, eggs or dairy, and no wheat is handled in our kitchen. However, we cannot rule out trace contamination that comes from the raw materials themselves — for example, when an ingredient is grown or processed near wheat, eggs or dairy. Some items contain nuts such as walnuts and almonds. The oatmeal cookie uses oats (whole-grain oats under the Western gluten-free threshold of 20 ppm). When giving them to someone with allergies, please pass on the ingredient list as well. See allergens and how we make them.

Which is better as a gift?
The heart-shaped chocolate sandwich beet cookie (4 pieces) is a popular choice for small gifts and thank-yous. For someone who likes a hearty snack, the oatmeal cookie, about 8 cm across, is another option.
Can you add noshi paper or a message card?
We don’t offer noshi (Japanese gift paper) or message cards. For wrapping, please check the online store. The online store also sells a gift box (a box and sticker set) that you fill with cookies yourself.
Can I give them to someone with allergies?
