Our cookie ingredients
We show “no wheat flour” through the ingredients. What goes into our two cookies, and how we think about it.
Two cookies, two flours
The beet cookie is made with rice flour and the oatmeal cookie with whole-grain oats. Neither uses wheat flour. The oatmeal cookie does not use rice flour.
Rice flour tastes very different depending on the type, so we compared them in our kitchen and chose the one that gives the best flavour. The oats are whole-grain oats under the Western gluten-free threshold (20 ppm).
No refined cane sugar
We don’t use refined cane sugar (often called “white sugar”). We use beet sugar (shown on the label as organic beet sugar), organic agave syrup and organic agave chocolate.
No eggs or dairy (vegan)
All our baked goods are vegan. Instead of eggs and dairy, we bring the dough together with organic soy milk and organic coconut oil. We don’t use honey, gelatin or other animal-derived ingredients either.

Standards reviewed by AFRODE CLINIC
With standards reviewed by AFRODE CLINIC, we design how we choose ingredients and make our recipes. We make no claims about health effects.
Allergens and contamination
We don’t use wheat flour, eggs or dairy, and no wheat is handled in our kitchen. However, we cannot rule out trace contamination that comes from the raw materials themselves — for example, when an ingredient is grown or processed near wheat, eggs or dairy. We use almonds (both cookies), walnuts (oatmeal cookie) and soy (soy milk). See allergens and how we make them.
